The band said they hope to get work on the follow up to this year's 'Because Of The Times' soon, and it may sound like a Wham record. Caleb Followill said: "Because of the thrill of being number one, I think the songs we're writing now just really have something about them. Its a passion that I think will carry on. This is gonna be like a Wham record." He added that he hoped the band would hit the studio early next year. Followill said: "We end the tour January 13th, my birthday is January 14th and hopefully we'll be in the studio by Valentine's Day to start the next one. "We try to strike while the iron's hot, and we're writing some really good songs right now." He told XFM: "The success of the record has been a big shock to us. But because of that things are happening at different times in different territories. "We just had a Number One in Ireland which we've not had before, so no, we're not finished with this album cycle just yet."
